About us
The 4S Lab
We build climate & disaster risk intelligence — combining GIS, remote sensing and AI/ML with two decades of field experience in engineering, climate adaptation and disaster management.
Our story
ListenClimate is the public-facing platform of The 4S Lab, built to bridge the gap between climate science and the people who need it most: disaster managers, local governments, researchers and communities on the front line of climate risk.
Our work spans climate data downscaling and analysis, climate change adaptation and mitigation, GIS/RS/AI‑ML for climate risk intelligence, Google Earth Engine, GIS/MIS system integration, and open-source geospatial infrastructure (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) — grounded in decades of hands-on civil engineering, project management, and disaster-management practice.
Through this site we share the tools we build, teach what we've learned through self-paced training, publish research and field notes, and make downscaled climate data, geospatial datasets and climate-tech hardware available to practitioners and institutions who need them.
What we do
Climate risk tools
GIS/AI‑ML tools for hazard, vulnerability and risk analysis.
Downscaled climate data
Localized projections for planning and adaptation.
Self-paced training
Practical courses in GIS, RS, GEE and disaster-risk analysis.
Climate & weather IoT
Field-ready sensors and monitoring devices.
